Cleo is a broken coat. Thanks must go to Pam & the late Curly Sullivan who hand picked this lovely girl for me to show. Cleo’s lines go back to Ch. Malung Jim Beam, and Grand Champion Coleann Brown Lagar two of the top winners in Jack Russells.
With her look at me attitude, Cleo likes nothing better then to get in the show ring and strut her stuff; winning Class In Group awards at All Breed Championship & Open Shows and also winning In Show awards at the JRTVC shows. She is still knocking them over, going Reserve Challenge at the Royal Melbourne Show in 2006 at nearly 6 yrs of age. She was also a Finalist in 2002 in the Sporting Terrier Club of Victoria Supreme Terrier Contest There is just no stopping this "young" lady. She has also had a go at lure racing and earth dog.
2007 was supposed to be Cleo's final year of "full" showing or so we thought, but many people have said that she should continue on as she is still winning and more importantly, enjoying herself (she is well on her way to her Grand Championship) and there is nothing she hates more then to be left at home - she is still showing with style and pizazz with wins at the Jack Russell Terrier Shows (2007) over much younger rivals. On the 5th November, 2007, Cleo won Best Of Breed at the Victorian Womens Club Show and was then shortlisted for GROUP in a strong lineup of terriers. Cleo is still winning, she was given another Open In Group award at the Yea & District Kennel Club in May 2008.
The end of an era!! Cleo has now gotten her Grand Champion title and will be retired at the end of this year.
